Basel is an Easy Jet base, you can get there with Easy Jet from almost any country in Europe.
Ryanair also flies toveral destinations from Basel
If coming from the previous show in Croatia the best way to get to Switzerland is to fly.
Basel has its own airport but Stuttgart and Geneva are not far. TUI Fly flies from Dubrovnik to Stuttgart and German Wings from Split to Stuttgart.
Easy Jet will start a Split/Geneva route, but keep in mind that trains in Switzerland are really expensive, so it might be cheaper to fly to Stuttgart.
